Free 2026 Geist Half Marathon Training Plans Now Available

I’m excited to announce that I am once again serving as an official sponsor and the Official Training Coach for the 2026 Geist Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and 1-Mile race events.

The Geist Half Marathon has become one of Central Indiana’s premier running events, bringing together runners of all experience levels for a fun, challenging, and community-focused race experience. Whether you’re tackling your first 5K, stepping up to a 10K, chasing a new half marathon personal record, or participating in the family-friendly 1-Mile event, this race offers something for everyone.

As part of my partnership with the race, I have created a series of FREE training plans designed specifically for participants preparing for race day on September 12, 2026.

These plans are available for both beginner and intermediate runners and are designed to provide the structure, consistency, and progression needed to help you show up feeling confident and prepared.

Each plan is built around the principles I use with my runners:

  • Strength training recommendations

No matter your goal, having a structured plan can make a tremendous difference in both your performance and your enjoyment of the training process.
